Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the KeeperVoice website or services. By purchasing from or using KeeperVoice ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. The Service

KeeperVoice provides a voice preservation service that uses artificial intelligence technology to create a synthetic voice model ("Voice Model") based on an audio recording you submit. As part of The Voice Keepsake purchase, we also produce a classic audiobook narrated in that Voice Model and provide access to The Living Library, where Voice Models can be used to narrate original text submissions.

Our service is powered in part by third-party AI technology. By using KeeperVoice, you acknowledge that outputs are generated through machine learning processes and may not be identical in quality, tone, or accuracy across all recordings or narrations.

2. Voice Quality and Results

Important — Please read carefully: The quality of your Voice Model is determined almost entirely by the quality of the original recording you submit. A clear, expressive recording made in a quiet environment produces a significantly better Voice Model than a recording with background noise, inconsistent volume, or poor microphone quality. KeeperVoice makes no guarantee that any Voice Model will sound identical to the original speaker, and results will vary from recording to recording.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Voice Model quality is directly dependent on the source recording quality.
  • Results may vary — some Voice Models will sound more lifelike than others depending on recording conditions, microphone quality, speaking style, and other factors.
  • KeeperVoice does not guarantee that any Voice Model will perfectly replicate the voice of any individual.
  • AI-generated audio is synthetic and may contain artifacts, inconsistencies, or variations not present in the original recording.
  • We provide clear recording guidance before you submit. Following that guidance gives you the best possible outcome.

3. The Human Touch Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with your Voice Model or your delivered audiobook, you are entitled to one (1) complimentary "Human Touch" session per order. During this session, a member of our team will personally review your Voice Model and make reasonable adjustments to improve the output.

To request a Human Touch session, contact us at keepervoice.ai@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will respond within 2 business days. This session is available once per order and is subject to our reasonable determination that the original recording provides sufficient audio quality to improve upon.

4. Consent and Authorization

By submitting an audio recording to KeeperVoice, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the person being recorded, or you have the explicit written consent of the person being recorded to create a Voice Model of their voice.
  • You have the legal right to submit the recording and to authorize the creation of a Voice Model.
  • You will not use your Voice Model to impersonate, deceive, defraud, or harm any person.
  • You will not use your Voice Model to create any content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise prohibited by law.
  • You understand that creating a Voice Model of another person's voice without their consent may violate applicable laws, including right-of-publicity laws and biometric privacy statutes.

KeeperVoice reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service if we believe these representations have been violated.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Your Voice Model, your audio recording, and all narrations produced for you are yours. KeeperVoice does not claim any ownership over your Voice Model or the content you submit.

We will not sell, share, license, or use your Voice Model for any purpose other than delivering your purchased services. We will not use your voice data to train AI models without your explicit consent. You may request deletion of your voice data at any time — see Section 9.

The classic audiobook titles included with The Voice Keepsake are in the public domain. All arrangements and productions are owned by KeeperVoice.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use KeeperVoice services to:

  • Create Voice Models of any person without their explicit consent.
  • Produce content that impersonates, deceives, or defrauds any person or entity.
  • Generate audio for use in scams, fraud, misinformation, or illegal activity of any kind.
  • Create content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or harmful.
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Voice Models created through our service without our prior written consent.

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your account and access, and may be reported to relevant authorities where required by law.

7. Payment and Pricing

The Voice Keepsake is a one-time purchase. There are no recurring subscription fees. Living Library narration submissions are purchased separately on a per-submission basis at the rates displayed on the website at the time of submission.

All prices are in USD. Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. KeeperVoice does not store your payment information.

8. Refund Policy

Because our service involves the creation of a custom AI Voice Model from your submitted recording — a process that begins immediately upon receipt of your recording — we have a limited refund policy:

  • Before recording submission: If you have purchased but not yet submitted your recording, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at keepervoice.ai@gmail.com.
  • After recording submission: Once your recording has been received and your Voice Model creation has begun, no refund will be issued. This is because the service has been performed and resources have been committed to your order.
  • If something goes wrong on our end: If a technical error on our part prevents delivery of your Voice Model or audiobook, we will either correct the issue or issue a full refund at our discretion.
Our commitment: If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your Voice Model or audiobook, please contact us before concluding that a refund is your only option. Our Human Touch session (see Section 3) exists precisely for this situation — and we will always try to make it right before a refund becomes necessary.

9. Data, Privacy and Deletion

We take the privacy of your voice data seriously. Your recordings and Voice Models are stored securely and are never publicly accessible. Full details of how we handle your data are set out in our Privacy Policy.

You may request deletion of your recording, Voice Model, and all associated data at any time by contacting us at keepervoice.ai@gmail.com. We will honor all deletion requests promptly and completely. Please note that deletion of your Voice Model is permanent and irreversible.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KeeperVoice provides its services "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your specific expectations.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KeeperVoice and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KeeperVoice and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.
