KeeperVoice ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Stephen Frittelli, an individual doing business as KeeperVoice, based in Texas, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information — including voice recordings and biometric voice data — when you use our website and services at keepervoice.com.
By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Name and email address (provided at purchase or through our recording portal)
- Order information
- The name you assign to a voice profile
- Voice recordings you submit through our recording portal or upload directly
2.2 Voice recordings and biometric voice data
When you submit a voice recording through KeeperVoice, we collect and process audio data that constitutes biometric voice data. This includes:
- The original audio recording you submit
- A voice profile ("voice clone") created from that recording using ElevenLabs' Instant Voice Cloning technology
Your original recording is retained permanently, or for as long as your Living Library membership remains active, to enable future voice profile re-creation. The ElevenLabs voice profile is deleted from ElevenLabs' servers immediately after your audiobook or narration is delivered.
2.3 Automatically collected information
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent on our site
- IP address
- Referring URLs
We use Shopify to operate our store, which may collect standard e-commerce analytics data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process your orders and deliver your audiobook or narration
- Create and maintain your voice profile for Living Library services
- Communicate with you about your order, including delivery confirmation
- Respond to customer service inquiries
- Improve our services
We do not sell your personal information or voice data to any third party. We do not use your voice data for any purpose other than creating the audiobook or narration you have ordered.
4. Voice Data — Special Notice
Voice recordings are sensitive biometric data. We take the following specific steps to protect them:
- Your original recording is stored securely in Dropbox, accessible only to KeeperVoice
- Your ElevenLabs voice profile is permanently deleted from ElevenLabs' servers immediately after your order is fulfilled
- We do not share your voice recording or voice profile with any third party, other than ElevenLabs for the sole purpose of processing your order
- We do not use your voice data to train AI models beyond the creation of your personal voice profile
- We will never use your voice to generate content that you did not order or consent to
Consent: By submitting a voice recording through KeeperVoice, you confirm that you are the owner of the voice being recorded, or that you have explicit legal authority and consent from the voice owner to submit the recording for this purpose.
5. Data Retention

6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate KeeperVoice. Each has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data:
- Shopify — e-commerce platform and payment processing (shopify.com/legal/privacy)
- ElevenLabs — AI voice synthesis (elevenlabs.io/privacy)
- Dropbox — secure file storage (dropbox.com/privacy)
- Make (Integromat) — workflow automation (make.com/en/privacy-notice)
- Airtable — order management database (airtable.com/privacy)
We do not control the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their policies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
All users:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal data and voice recordings
- Correct inaccurate information
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
European Economic Area residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Our lawful basis for processing voice data is your explicit consent given at the time of submission.
Illinois, Texas, Washington residents: If you are a resident of a state with biometric privacy laws, you have specific rights regarding the collection and use of your biometric data, including voice recordings. We collect biometric voice data solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and do not sell or disclose it to third parties except as described in this policy.

8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted file storage via Dropbox
- Access controls limiting who can view recordings
- Immediate deletion of voice profiles from ElevenLabs after order fulfillment
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but commit to notifying you promptly if a breach occurs that affects your data.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If you are submitting a voice recording of a minor (for example, preserving a child's voice), you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to provide this consent.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
